Research Projects

The Columbia-IBM Center for Blockchain and Data Transparency supports research that advances innovation in blockchain, data transparency, data sharing, fair use of data, and related technologies for the good of society. Our research drives new science and technology, seeks to develop thought leadership and influence policy. Founded in 2017, the Columbia-IBM Center is now in its third year.

Within the research track, we’ve launched and promoted fundamental research, surveys, thought leadership, whitepapers, and collaborative workshops — you can check out and attend our most recent workshops and talks on the Events page.

The call for proposals for the Center’s Research Seed Funds Program for our third year is up!
